Basic of C language with tips up to advanced i need a e tutorial , book ,or a website based on this topic?

If you know then please answer meBasic of C language with tips up to advanced i need a e tutorial , book ,or a website based on this topic?
C++ May be actually better to start off with as most places are getting away from using regular C.

In that case I reccoment : C++ Programming: Problem Analysis To Program Design

I didn't know they still used C? When i graduated college in 02 everything had changed to Java...there wasn't even a C class left in the school!

Just need help in locating resources ....I need to learn DSP 2407 A Assembly language coding . Help anybody ? Where can I find a tutorial /books ?
All I know is that it's a TI chip based on TMS320 DSP platform. I found a good expression on the following site, but am not sure it's valid still.

Better to take a look at TI databooks.

Where are the best tutorials to learn scripting languages, etc?

I'm wondering do you know where the best place on the internet or which books are the best to use to learn server scripting languages, like php, sql and asp, and browser scripting languages, like Javascript and HTML DOM.

I have a comprehensive knowledge of html, xhtml and css so I'm ready now to move on to the next step with is browser and server scripting in my eyes. If you don't agree and think I should look at something else first I would be very gratefull for your guidance.Where are the best tutorials to learn scripting languages, etc?
w3schools.com is the worlds best place to begin. I make 6000 a week because i started there. Its also completely free. I can also teach you some if you want me to, email me at samm547@gmail.comWhere are the best tutorials to learn scripting languages, etc?
Actually, your next step should be to learn programming (which is taught in English, not in a computer language). Once you learn programming, you have to learn object-orientation. then you start learning languages.

Start with http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/0鈥?/a> - it's the best book I've ever found for teaching programming.

Where can i find free downloading tutorial books,on the net, for HTML language and Front Page ?

do not use frontpage to make a site. some of the code it uses can only be displayed by internet explorer. the forms wizard built into frontpage uses an action that only works on microsoft network. those of us that know html can change that action but no newbie can.

ALWAYS CHECK THE REFERENCE PAGES TO MAKE CERTAIN YOU ARE WRITING YOUR SOURCE CODE THE CORRECT WAY! JUST BECAUSE YOU SAW SOME SOURCE CODE WRITTEN A PARTICULAR WAY IN SOMEONE ELSE'S PAGE DOESN'T MEAN THEY WROTE IT CORRECTLY. MORE OFTEN THAN NOT YOU'LL FIND THAT THEY DIDN'T WRITE IT CORRECTLY. BUT LOOKING AT OTHER PEOPLE'S SOURCE CODE IS STILL A GOOD WAY TO LEARN. IF SOURCE CODE ISN'T WRITTEN THE CORRECT WAY IT CAN CAUSE OBJECTS TO BE DISPLAYED IN PLACES YOU DON';T WANT THEM IN OR EVEN CRASH SOMEONE'S BROWSER. NETSCAPOE 4.X USERS ARE THE MOST VULNERABLE TO CRASHING. MOST OF THE TIME BROWSERS A VERY FORGIVING WHEN IT COMES TO BAD SOURCE CODE. BUT WHY TAKE CHANCES. THE MORE CORRECTLY YOU WRITE YOUR PAGES THE MOER BROWSERS THEY WILL WORK WITH.

When FTPing files from your computer to your online account send text files, HTML/XHTML files, CSS files in the ascii mode. Send image files, movie files, music files in the binary mode. There is an automatic mode that is supposed to detect the type of file you are sending. But it isn't always reliable.

    *** HERE IS HOW I LEARNED HTML/XHTML/CSS ***

When you come to a page on the web click ';VIEW'; at the top of your browser and click on ';SOURCE';. If you are using Internet Explorer browser the HTML source code will open up in Windows Notepad. In Notepad click on ';FILE/SAVE AS'; to save the page's source code to your hard drive. In Internet Explorer click on ';FILE/OPEN'; to open the source code in the browser. Go back to notepad and remove some of the code and click ';SAVE';. Then in Internet Explorer hold down the ';SHIFT'; key and click on the ';REFRESH'; button on the browser's toolbar to see what effect the removed source code had on the page. You will learn a hundred times faster this way.

Something to think about later is.......After you have gotten a little experience with HTML try DOCTYPE, XHTML, and CSS. Then try to validate your pages. Validating checks your source code for coding errors. validating will not work unless you are using the correct doctype and the correct document encoding. Validating is not something a newcomer should bother with. Being new you will make lots of mistakes and won't know how to fix them yet. http://validator.w3.org/

Many libraries world-wide have books related to the Internet, Web and computers in general. They also have CDs and DVDs. Go to your local public library and get the username and password for http://www.firstsearch.org/ You have to get them at your library because that is where you will pick up and return the books after reading them. You can look up the book yourself but they will have to order it for you. Sometimes this can take awhile if the book is checked out by someone else. After reading the books and making copies of certain pages with a photo copier simply return it to them.

By using Firstsearch you can search for any book in the world. Some libraries might charge a small fee but most are free. Even if they charge a fee it will be less than the cost of the book or other item you are ordering. Every Web Design book I have read was acquired in this fashion. :)Where can i find free downloading tutorial books,on the net, for HTML language and Front Page ?

Is Java programming Language Lucrative? I'll like to have a Tutorials if posible.?

Java programmers are somewhat sought after.

C++ programmers are still needed and harder to find.

http://www.ask.com/web?q=Java+tutorial%26amp;q鈥?/a>Is Java programming Language Lucrative? I'll like to have a Tutorials if posible.?
I'm not sure about how lucrative it is (still in college) but it is a decent introductory language nonetheless.

To start download the appropriate files from the java website (java.sun.com) and go to the downloads section and click on ';Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition (J2SE)'; then download the Java SE 6 Beta JDK, then you need a compiler (you could just use notepad but I wouldn't suggest it). I prefer blueJ (http://www.bluej.org/) for this but many people don't like it, a second free compiler is Eclipse (http://www.eclipse.org/). After you have the files go to the java learing page (http://java.sun.com/learning/) and start from there. I'm not sure how this could help a new programmer but this tutorial (http://www.realapplets.com/tutorial/) was of immense help to me when I was starting out. A google search can also be of great help.

    Programming Languages Tutorials?

Any recommendations on which language to start with?

I know decent XHTML (planning on moving to XML sometime) and have started Python, but have not done much.

Also, any recommended sites/books that have decent tutorials?

Thanks in advance! =DProgramming Languages Tutorials?
It really depends on what you are looking to do. My normal recommendation to someone wanting to get into web design is to start with XHTML and CSS, then JavaScript, then PHP and MySql. If you master those, you will be able to develop most any sight that you want to develop. There are some excellent tutorials available at the site of W3C

    http://www.w3.org/

    Also, if you are interested in a particular language do a search for tutorials under that language. For example try this with Google.... ';Free online tutorials for PHP';

Also, I would recommend joining HTML forums at http://www.htmlforums.com/ It is a great forum with a lot of members all willing to help in whatever way they can.

The best way to learn the C programming language? Book or online tutorial?

I want to learn the C language (no I don't want to learn C++ because I need C for Objective-C and then for Cocoa) and I wonder if I should buy a book (a programming guide) or just take a free, online course. I'm not even talking about having to spend 50 bucks on a book, I'm just wondering if there's really a difference between them. Which books / websites would you suggest? Thanks! The best way to learn the C programming language? Book or online tutorial?
Books -1. ';The C Programming Languager'; (2nd edition) by Kernighan %26amp; Ritchie. Best of all book choices.

Tells you what you need for basic C programming once, the correct way. Easily read %26amp; carried.

';Programming in C'; (3rd edition) by Stephen Kochan. Rates with K%26amp;R but may be too deep in some subjects over others.

More depth %26amp; breadth of knowledge.

    Website - www.programmingtutorials.com

    Choice of tutorials.

The best way to learn the C programming language? Book or online tutorial?
C does not have a vary large syntax, so the first step is just to learn the syntax. Either a book or online guide will work, although books are often much better written and have better examples. The hard part of C is understanding how things work in it and using the proper libraries. For that, it is much better to read other people's code and write some simple programs. You should also look up basic data structures and implementations like stacks and linked lists.
I would read a couple books from the library, then use an online tutorial from http://www.iu.hio.no/~mark/CTutorial/CTu鈥?/a>

I would read a couple books from the library, then use an online tutorial from http://www.iu.hio.no/~mark/CTutorial/CTu鈥?/a>

its should be easy and good cuz i am 14 and i need a computer language to design software and stuff:DWhat is the best and easy computer language to learn and where can i find tutorial for the language?
can't go wrong with a language called ';basic';.

    :)

I do a lot of scripting using Visual Basic Scripting (or VBScript) for short. Once you get comfortable, you can start incorporating VBScript programs into web programming via HTA (Hypertext Applications) or as ASP on Microsoft servers.

If you are a bit brave, Microsoft also has (a brand new language) PowerShell, which is closely related to VBScript, but has some of the more difficult processes already completed (like connecting to objects, defining data structures, etc.).

Check out my web page for samples of some of the scripts I've written. Also look into a context editor, like Crimson Editor, to help with the basic syntax. What is the best and easy computer language to learn and where can i find tutorial for the language?
    try assembler
Brother, the easiest computer language is visual basic. But i reckon you better to learn c# or c++ to improve your computer language knowledge.Because the all kind of languages are familiar with c++.But it is bit difficult to understand, but try it out. You can surf the internet and can get a tutorials,or ask anyone who knows about c++ programming.
If you want to program ';stuff';, I would go with Java - not VB. I think it will be a better basis for the future. That said, if you are truly interested in programming and computer science, I would go with Python. It has most of the constructs of Lisp while still being more human friendly. This will definitely cause you to exercise your mind in ways you never thought possible before. Lisp (and to a lesser degree Python and Scheme) is used heavily in all the ';real'; hard computer science problems: Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language understanding and many more.
You might try Microsoft Visual Basic, you can download their free Visual Studio Express which includes VB. It's relatively easy to learn and powerful as well.

At the same time find yourself some good ebooks or tutorials online, VB for Dummies is a good book, it may sound lame but it's a concise book that gives you good info without going into boring detail.
You should use Visual Basic 6 development tools to design softwares.Visual Basic 6 is a easy tool to create any knida software for windows platform. You should know one thing that Visual Basic 6 is not a programming language, its a rapid application development tool. You can create professional softwares by using Visual Basic 6.But i suggest its not good to use VB6 first if u wana to build ur carrer as a Programmer. It will be better if u can learn C,C++ or Java any one of this programming language. If u need to know more bout programming languages pls feel free to contact wid me.My email address: andeckh@yahoo.co.in

You must work in the California School System. :-DHow can I find funding to setup english as a second language tutorial classes for elementary, middle, and high
There are groups such as Kiwanis and various Leagues that will help sponsor these classes. You could also ask teachers or teachers aids to volunteer their time and therefore there would be no cost except the books and tablets. Those could be gotten by various church donations or Chambers of Commerce from different locations. I have taught English as a second language and found it very character making. Also write companies that publish books, tablets etc and have them donate them as it is a tax write off for them. In return allow some type of advertising for the donations. Give at least 5 suggestions on how to improve the quality of tutorials of french language course?

Write at least 5 suggestions with some explanation, please. SUPPOSE YOU THE STUDENT OF OPEN UNIVERSITY.Give at least 5 suggestions on how to improve the quality of tutorials of french language course?
Are the expected answers for your personal use or for a private college/university?

    Suggestions may be different ......

1)One that is a must is to hire a native French speaker or someone who has lived in a French speaking country for a number of years.

    2) Use books that are recent and which are teaching everyday French, expressions, idioms and colloquialisms unless you want to teach only literature.

Use French language that is modern and not obsolete as some schools do.

    3) Follow a structured and ';smart'; plan to realize your curriculum.

    4) Start from the basics and by this I mean the real basics e.g. teach the alphabet in FRENCH and make sure that all the students know it by heart otherwise they will never be able to write and spell properly.

    5) Make sure not only to give the theory but to back it up with practice, spelling %26amp; grammar tests on a regular basis - without warning or planned tests -.

6)Have your students make a small summary, even if it is only a few lines to start with, on a weekly basis or more often to check on their ';real';knowledge of the language.

7)Keep them interested. %26gt;%26gt;%26gt;Have real conversations about actual and interesting topics for the students (which are not always the same as what the teacher wants). It may be difficult to start with, but these conversation classes will boost their self confidence and they won't be afraid to speak in- or outside of the classroom.

    6) Use French songs. French singers tend to give priority to the lyrics rather than to the music as in the US. Choose the ones with an excellent pronounciation.

    7) Watch French speaking documentaries, films, etc... Have the students comment - in writing %26amp; orally - on what they have seen.

    9) Crosswords are also very good to learn new vocabulary.

    10) Ask the students their input about what topics they'd like to discuss, what films you may want to watch - as a class -. Make it a special outing once in awhile.

    11) Always motivate your students, never denigrate them.

    12) Last but not least %26gt;%26gt;%26gt;

    Make it FUN and INTERESTING.

If I think of something else, i'll get back to you.

I have been a French tutor for over 20 years and - even when the student has had a few years of French already, I find that they do lack the basics and I start from scratch...every single time.... to refresh their knowledge and boost their confidence as they will realize that they know much more than what they think but forgot to put it into practice. I always put myself in the place of my students and this allows me to remain very patient with them. We have a lot of fun and, at the same time, we do learn a lot in a very short period.

Sorry if I have given you more than 5 suggestions and if I have been long winded but I just love what I do :-) and I want to share my experience with someone who'd like some tips.

    Hope this helps.

Is there a website where I can learn MS DOS programming language and tutorials?

I know this sounds weird but when I was younger I learned assembly language for the 6409 and Z80 cpu's, but I never learned MS DOS and would like to learn. Also if you know of a good free assembly launguage compiler for my Dell inspiron 1501, AMD turion MK-36, 32 bit operating system. would be greatly appretiated. I just would like to get back into assembly language programming.

Thank you.Is there a website where I can learn MS DOS programming language and tutorials?
Google on ';DOS programming tutorial';. I'm sure that one of them will cover what you want to know. Be advised that DOS is not assembler. Is there a website where I can learn MS DOS programming language and tutorials?
MS DOS commands can be found via Programs, Accessories, Command Prompt - type Help or for command such as Help Copy.

You might get the free Watcom C/C++ Compiler. You can include assembly code in this to run via DOS or Windows.

    http://www.openwatcom.org/index.php/Main鈥?/a>

Examples of assembly code can be found at my site:

    http://freespace.virgin.net/roy.longbott鈥?/a>
MSDOS is not a programming language. It is simply a set of commands many of which were pinched from Unix. The closest you can get to 'programming' in DOS is to create and run a batch file. This is simply a series of commands that are executed sequentially from the file.
